This single-family housing project in the Balearic Islands marked a before and after in FILA's career, as it was the first project executed with industrialized construction systems. It posed a significant challenge, as it was developed outside our usual environment —Cerdanya and the Pyrenees— and in a Mediterranean context with climatic, regulatory and logistical conditions typical of an island territory.
The work required a careful adaptation of the construction system, demonstrating the versatility and solidity of industrialized construction and FILA's ability to apply it with criteria, precision and quality, regardless of the location. The project combines noble materials, a close relationship between interior and exterior and an architecture designed to take advantage of light, natural ventilation and the landscape.
This experience laid the foundations of the construction model that defines FILA today and opened the way to a new way of building.
