This detached single-family home represents a contemporary reinterpretation of mountain architecture, where the construction is respectfully integrated into an environment of snowy meadows and panoramic views. The project is defined by its horizontal implementation and the use of native materials such as slate stone, which covers much of the facade and the sloping roofs, providing roundness and mimicry with the Pyrenean landscape.
The architecture is organized in volumes that adapt to the terrain, creating transition areas between the interior and exterior. A large exterior porch with laminated wood carpentry and a hipped slate roof stands out, which houses a summer living and dining area next to a linear swimming pool integrated into the stone pavement.
Inside, the design focuses on spacious, bright and warm spaces. Large glass windows capture natural light and frame views of the snowy mountain range, blurring the boundaries with the outside. The extensive use of oak, pine and fir wood in ceilings, exposed beams, parquet floors and interior joinery creates a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The main living area is structured around a contemporary black iron fireplace, which acts as a focal point and separating element between the living room and the dining room.
FILA's meticulous execution is visible in every detail, from the precise placement of the stone to the integration of efficient construction solutions that guarantee thermal comfort in a high mountain climate. The result is a durable, functional home in perfect harmony with its natural surroundings.
